Welcome The Cacao Spirit

I never thought I’d sing.

And I certainly never imagined that a song would come through me.

​

But there I was, in a joyful moment at Los Milagritos in Puerto Escondido, holding my ukulele… when it happened.

​

The song arrived, not written, not planned, but received.

It came whole, as if it had been waiting for me just beyond the veil.

​

A melody and message that felt both new and deeply familiar, as if it had always known me.

​

That song was Welcome the Cacao Spirit,
the first to remember me, and the first I truly received.

​

It was the moment I felt the channel open through me,
and a connection to something greater, a higher purpose.

​

Little did I know, just a couple of months earlier, that this was even possible, when I was still struggling to remember, play, and sing an already existing song.

​
